If any exists, they leave it up to us to sort out our problems. No god will stop this, because no god can. Seriously, if you feel that your time is better used thinking to an invisible sky wizard that you are happy that it isn't you there, I would reevaluate what kind of morals your religion gives you. I don't care if you go to your church and ask your fellow sheep to help and give money to NGOs that help promote women's rights in Pakistan. Rather than praying for them, which has no scientific proof of working, do something about it. Rather than do things you sit back and are thankful that it isn't you! Because you posted two points considering your god, I suggest to you that next time you feel like you should pray for someone, donate your time or resources to helping them. This is one of the reasons that (I assume you are christian, however judaism and islam apply equally) your religion is helping this problem. And wtf are is your god doing if they gave rain to those women, knowing that they would get killed over it? This disproves his omni-benevolence. Rather than participate in a religion that is extremely similar to the religion causing the problem, you should do something about it. Why not actually do something to make it better there.
